Yesterday we had a big party to celebrate my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. The priest that married them was planning to attend but couldn’t because of COVID, so they renewed their wedding vows via Zoom with friends and family looking on.
I’m not opposed to cold calls to published business numbers (like mine), but if my first interaction with your company is deceitful, I’m not interested in doing business with you.
Just got a super scammy cold call.
Step 1: A robo-dialer called and feigned a bad connection. “He…Hello? Can you here me? I’m going to call you right back.” (Hang up)
Step 2: Once they have a number that answers (meaning: me) a real person calls back with the cold pitch.
Made a pit stop at Abram’s for a to-go order of barbecue and sauce. Now on to the beach! ?? (Farrar, NC)
