In 1962 my grandfather purchased a lake cottage in northern Indiana and named it Daze End. Always a joker, he enjoyed the double entendre in the name. The cottage and the lake were not only where the daze of his everyday life ended, but also where he planned to end his days in retirement. Over 50 years later, the name he chose has proven apt as now four generations of his family have enjoyed the sun and water on its shores, and a second generation has retired to the cottage. His generosity and foresight have paid dividends through the years. Thanks Gramps.
