Dinner last night was Black Rock Pizza. I can’t say it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had, but it’s way above average. They have local beer, a really nice patio in the back, and the pepperoni rolls are outstanding. If I were local, I’d be happy to be a regular. ?

A question for people more familiar with Hawaii than me: When I see someone flying this flag, are they making a political statement? Just showing their pride in being Hawaiian? Something else?
The biggest surprise of Hawaii so far: There are wild chickens EVERYWHERE. At least there are on Oahu. (Pupukea, HI)
