I unintentionally took a break from Twitter this week and it’s been refreshing. I might have to keep this up.
I’m driving to my parents in Northern Indiana, and it’s sad to see so many fields either lying fallow or with barely sprouted crops. Between the rains that flooded fields in May and June, and the trade tariffs, there are a lot of farmers who are going to be hurting this year.
Yesterday my brother found a handwritten essay that my mom wrote in the 2nd or 3rd grade, describing her experience on the farm taking care of her pet pig. ?? https://dazeend.org/2019/07/my-pet-pig/
