This stop is my favorite so far. Bacalhoaria Silva has specialized in dried cod, ham, cheese and wine since 1890. The ham we had (the Portuguese version of Iberico ham) melts in your mouth, and the wine was fantastic—and only €7.50 per 750ml retail! #Releasenotes2023 #wine

Yesterday, Heather and I made a day trip to the Alentejo region of Portugal. First stop: Herdade do Rocim winery in Cuba to learn about amphora wines. The wines were nice, but we both agreed that the wines weren’t as aromatic as we are used to. #wine (Vila de Frades, Beja, Portugal)
