We had a beautiful day at the lake today, and had what was possibly the last boat ride of the year. (The boat gets taken out on Wednesday.) the trees are starting to turn, and it’s warm (enough) in the sun. I’ll take it! #lakelife
Yesterday’s sunset was a beautiful one. It’s starting to get chilly, though. It was still warm enough to sit on the deck as long as you were in the sun, but I had to head indoors once the Sun dipped behind the trees. #lakelife
Now I’m sitting at the gate at Dublin airport, waiting to board our flight. Next stop JFK, then home! #travel #ireland

To cap off our trip we joined our friends Dermot and Aileen (@dermdaly@mastodon.social), who live in Dublin, for dinner then drinks. It was great catching up again with friends that we don’t get to see often enough. #travel #ireland
Final stop: The obligatory visit to the Guinness Storehouse. You can’t visit the brewery anymore, but it is quite the experience. #travel #ireland
Next stop was Kilmainham Gaol, which was the jail where many of the people involved in the Easter Uprising of 1916 were jailed and executed. I’ve visited before, and it was just as moving.
