Second food tour stop: Bacalhau (croquettes of salted cod) with “tomato rice” and vinho verde. #ReleaseNotes2023 #wine #lisbon
The first official event of #ReleaseNotes2023 is a food tour around Lisbon. First stop was for bifana (pork sandwiches) at Beira Gare, near Rossio train station.
Next stop: Evora. We climbed to the roof of the cathedral, visited an ossuary, and did a lot of people watching.
Yesterday, Heather and I made a day trip to the Alentejo region of Portugal. First stop: Herdade do Rocim winery in Cuba to learn about amphora wines. The wines were nice, but we both agreed that the wines weren’t as aromatic as we are used to. #wine (Vila de Frades, Beja, Portugal)
✅ Ceiling is done! All knotty pine is installed.
Next step is electrical, but that will have to wait for a few weeks #wine #ProjectWineCellar
