Just got off a sales call with what would potentially be a larger customer. He didn’t remember who I was when I called, mistakenly looked at the website of another company during our call, and was most interested in our cheapest plan. So yeah, not a great way to start the day.
I’m at my usual lunch spot and the bartender warned me off the lunch special (chili mac). They ran out of chili powder, so the cook restocked from the nearby ethnic grocery. He accidentally bought Indian chili powder instead of “white folk chili powder” and it is ?????
I’m stuck on cellular data because my Internet provider (MetroNet) is having an outage, but of course there’s no acknowledgement of that on their website, social media or anywhere else.
I’ve hired four people on UpWork in the last week. That’s a new record for me. It’s nice to free up time by hiring out work, but it sucks when the bill comes due. ?
