I’m stuck on cellular data because my Internet provider (MetroNet) is having an outage, but of course there’s no acknowledgement of that on their website, social media or anywhere else.
I’ve hired four people on UpWork in the last week. That’s a new record for me. It’s nice to free up time by hiring out work, but it sucks when the bill comes due. ?
I spent last weekend gutting the @aisling_house basement with some friends. It was touch and go at a few points, but it’s now it’s a blank slate for what comes next—as soon as we figure out what that is. Before and in-progress:
Tonight’s restaurant had a generic “Recipe for Love” mural on the wall. I’m not sure if the designer forgot to remove the “Lorem Ipsum” text from the design, or left it in intentionally as a joke, but I LOLed.
Despite me giving ample warning of my vacation, one contract developer waited until today to deliver a feature and another waited until today to accept a contract. So I had a little work I had to do this morning. But now it’s time to relax!
