Imagine you’ve had a business partner for 12 years. For 12 years you’ve been requesting changes to your business arrangement because you feel it’s unfair and hampers your growth. For 12 years your requests have been ignored. Maybe it’s time to find a new business partner?
I was experiencing intermittent problems with my Linux laptop: external monitors not waking, occasional loss of Ethernet, etc. I’m not ready to declare it solved quite yet, but seems likely the problem was the dock I was using. Since changing docks, it’s been much more reliable.
I found out that my 78 year-old father participated in a protest/rally against police brutality the other day. If you knew him, you would know that’s very on brand for him. Ask him sometime about the time he marched with Dr. King. He’d love to tell you the story.
I’m shocked to discover that scanning is even easier on my Linux laptop than it was on my MacBook. I expected it to be a huge pain, but it just works.™
I might actually start using my scanner more often now.
Any speakers of Irish out there? I’m curious how you would verbally spell out a word like “fáilte.” Would you say, “F, A with a fada, I, L, T, E”? Or does “á” have a “name” distinct from “a”?
